GYMNASTICS
Gymnastics is an amazing sport! It challenges your body both physically and mentally. Not only will you gain strength, flexibility, agility, coordination and balance, you will also build kinesthetic awareness and confidence. You don’t have to be super strong or an athlete to start doing gymnastics. In your session you can expect to progress from beginner skills to advanced skills safely and effectively. I will take you through carefully selected basic stretches and skills in the warm up and then progress to your personal skill level on any, or all, of the gymnastics apparatus events. Even if you’re an absolute beginner you can benefit from gymnastics. It’s a great way to change up your workout and even if you don’t want to be a gymnast the benefits can be used in any sport, activity or workout.
The Gymnastics Conditioning Workout
Gymnasts are, pound for pound, some of the strongest athletes in the world. Their conditioning programs are extremely rigorous and are a challenge for any fitness level. Gymnasts develop strength in all three planes of movement, which is not always possible with a standard weight-training workout. Gymnastics conditioning is a great way to change up your routine with muscle confusion, and it will also strengthen your core along with every other muscle in your body. Not only will you develop strength and a great physique, you can also develop specific techniques and build self-confidence. You can choose between a boot camp style workout or work on specific strength skills like the iron cross, press handstands, planche, levers and muscle ups. Anyone from a true beginner, all the way through a CrossFit devotee or P90X aficionado can benefit - the Gymnastics conditioning workout can be adapted and modified to any fitness level. Get strong and ripped today!

Gymnastics For Dancers
Have you ever been to an audition where they’ve asked “Does anyone tumble?!” Now you can say “YES!!” with Gymnastics For Dancers. Choreographers are consistently looking for new movement vocabulary and, more importantly, versatile dancers. Many of them, especially on Broadway and in television, are looking for dancers who can do gymnastics, tumble or do acrobatics. Any dancer can benefit from gymnastics because it gives you a new movement vocabulary to take from and it can heighten your kinesthetic awareness and coordination. Whether you want to land a new role or want to improve on the ones you are already working on, I have helped many dancers on Broadway and Cirque du Soleil in shows that include Spiderman, Come Fly Away, The Addams Family, Billy Elliot, Mary Poppins, and Le Rev. I have also worked with professional ballet dancers, contemporary dancers and B-boys and B-girls. Achieve your performance goals, and have fun in the process!
